Before we stepped in, this Shelby County self-storage operator was facing several issues that limited their visibility and leads:
Slow review growth. Reviews weren't coming in fast enough to build the social proof renters look for at the moment of decision, and a 4.2 rating wasn't pulling clicks from the map pack.
Weak Google Business Profile visibility. Their profile barely surfaced for "self-storage" and "storage units near me" searches, so prospective renters were calling competitors in Sidney and Troy instead.
Inconsistent local citations. Their business listings across directories had drifted out of sync, with mismatched names, addresses, and phone numbers that hurt their local trust signals to Google.
A website that wasn't pulling its weight. The site was slow, missed the search terms renters actually use, and gave AI assistants no clean signal about location, unit sizes, or availability.
